Public Rights of Way are a specific recorded public highway which users have the right to pass along on certain modes of transport and were first legally established around 1950, however many of these ways are difficult or impossible to use due to obstructions which have prevented their use in the past 70 years. This site aims to record issues with Public Rights of Way along with other accessibility issues for the benefit of those planning routes, or to influence action for Public Rights of Way to be cleared of obstructions.
